Our Doctors
Gregg Cohen , DVM
At a young age I knew I wanted to either be a veterinarian or a pro golfer. I decided to go the medical route and volunteered at animal hospitals all through high school. In 1985, I received my undergraduate degree from Auburn University. I received my doctorate from the University of Florida in 1989. My wife, Karen, and I moved to Atlanta and I joined a private practice where I focused on surgery and diagnostics for three years.
We moved to Woodstock and decided this was a nice place to raise a family. We opened our practice in 1992 and have been caring for the pets in this area ever since. Our children are Courtney, Ty and Jessie. We have two dogs, Mo and Black Jack. Our two cats are named "Boo" and "Etowah". Fairway lives at the clinic.
Since opening the clinic, three of our family pets have died of old age. Our golden retriever, Alex, was the best pet anyone could ask for. Our cats, Putter and Caddy, are also greatly missed. I know what it is like to lose a pet, especially when they become such important parts of the family. The sadness is only softened by the memories of companionship and unconditional love that a pet provides.
In my spare time, I am usually with my family at a sporting event. I also find time to golf. You will also see me at Career Day at our local schools. I usually have at least one high school student on staff in association with Apprenticeship Programs. The community support for my animal hospital has been overwhelming and I will always be appreciative.
Dr. Jed Green
Dr. Jed Green received a B.S. in Animal Science from Berry College in 1999. He graduated from the UGA College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003.
Dr. Green joined our practice in 2003 and we are fortunate to have such an intelligent, skilled veterinarian on staff. He and his wife, Vanessa, have three children. They are Daylan, Daniel and Claire. Shadow is their grey tabby cat.
Dr. Green has been a tremendous asset to our practice. He is highly skilled in soft tissue and orthopedic surgery as well as internal medicine.
Everyone who meets Dr. Green likes him immediately. He is smart, thorough and has a way of clearly explaining what is necessary to keep your pet healthy.
